Words are powerful. They can win a crowd or turn one against you. They can break a heart or make one fall in love. Words, when cleverly arranged, can persuade and enlighten, can open the bonds of ignorance or further tighten them. Words are also a useful learning tool, for example, in the form of a textbook or manual. A dictionary or thesaurus. They’re entertaining too, a way to pass an afternoon in the form of a novel or magazine. Usually, we are presented with the words of others. Their works and opinion’s, their thoughts and ideas. But when was the last time you attempted to lay your own words on paper, to express your opinion on a subject you’re interested in? Those are the thoughts I had that lead me to create Pam’s Journal.
