About Me
Theres no doubt that writing takes more effort than reading. This is because reading is an activity of consumption and writing is one of creation. Just like watching a film is consumption and making the film is creation. To create you exert more energy, but most would agree it is also more rewarding. You can’t have one without the other, though. Reading will expand your vocabulary, expose you to more ideas and increase your concentration. It will make you more worldly and knowledgable. All of this, I have found, will improve your writing. However, theres only so much you can consume. After a certain point, all that’s left to do is practice for yourself. And that’s the point I’ve reached. I want to write, so to begin, I’ve chosen a topic I’m familiar with: myself! And so begins my dive into the art of journalling.
